1991 Double Reg. AQHA, PHBA Palomino gelding 16.2hh.
Skippy has been shown in AQHA am. halter and has his ROM.
He has also gotten points in nov. am. and am. showmanship
in both AQHA and PHBA shows.
He has been shown in HUS, showmanship very sucessfully.
Reserve Champion in halter and showmanship in Palomino
shows.
I have started some dressage training with him. Skippy has
been shown locally in dressage at training level. He is able to do
training level one.
He is not a jumper. Very sweet horse with no
vices. Would make an absolutely wonderful companion horse as he
loves to take trail rides.
Right now, my trainer and I are starting him back up for
show season.
He requires a lot of leg, especially at the canter as he
tends to be lazy.
An intermediate rider would do fine with him.
However he would take care of a beginner on the trail.
